In October 2010, my son was diagnosed with Autism.  He had already been receiving EI services six months prior to the diagnosis for a significant developmental delay.  It is because of EI...that today, almost one year later that my life has been reborn.  It was just the other day that a therapist commented how different my son looks as opposed to when she first began working with him.  By "different" she meant the life behind his eyes that was once a seemingly blank slate.  Early Intervention helped open the door and unlock his potential.  Without EI, we may have missed out on the opportunity to meet such a wonderful, loving little boy.
